Frequently Asked Questions
Clients who are/are on photosensitive medication, pregnant, going through treatment for cancer, have open wounds and tanned skin. A full consultation is carried out to determine if this treatment is suitable for you.
There is some downtime with this treatment – Expect between 1-7 days downtime, every client is different, but most clients experience no more than 2 days.
Avoid Retinol/Tretinoin for 3 to 5 days prior to your treatment. Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior. uncomfortable, however at your treatment, a local anaesthetic cream may be recommended prior to your session, but this is not always the case.
Every client’s skin and needs vary but on average I recommend three treatments in order to achieve optimal results, with 1 or 2 treatments a year after a course.
